the bountiful doors of asking FORGIVENESS

Qur'an, from the story of Nuh with his people:

"Next I appealed to them publicly; then I broadcast it to them and confided with them privately, proclaiming: 'Seek forgiveness from your Lord; He is so Forgiving. He causes the sky to send torrents down upon you and He supplies you with wealth and children, and grants you gardens and even grants you rivers."

["Kemudian sesungguhnya aku menyeru mereka dengan terang-terangan dan dengan diam-diam, maka aku katakan kepada mereka: 'Mohonlah ampun kepada Tuhanmu, -sesungguhnya Dia adalah Maha Pengampun. Nescaya Dia akan mengirimkan hujan kepadamu dengan lebat, dan membanyakkan harta dan anak-anakmu, dan mengadakan untukmu kebun-kebun dan mengadakan (pula di dalamnya) untukmu sungai-sungai."]
